This is a cone 1.7 kg of 55%Ramie and 45%cotton mix. Ramie is another
plant based fibre similar to cotton fibre and has been used for thousands
of years, similar to cotton and up to three times as strong.
This yarn is similar to a fine double knit. The samples were knitted
on our chunky machines on stitch size 2, so it would need approx
3mm - 4 mm needles when knitting this yarn by hand.
The yarn thickness is described as 1/1.9NM
The yarn has a wonderfull texture with a slight knop and crimp.
The colour is a cornflower shade of blue slightly grey tilting.
This yarn is ex stock so some of the cones have some wear marks
but stand up fine.
Please be aware that everybodys monitors can see colours differently so
although our pictures look right to us, it is possible that they look a bit
different to you. This isnt just us and is a problem common to everybody
who uses the web.
