We have used Zegna Baruffas extra-fine 2/30s 100% merino cashwool many times over the years and haven’t found anything to compare it with. Cashwool is Zegna Baruffas most renowned product and is synonymous with quality and innovation in the world of luxury wools. The yarn is sourced from a special selection of ultra fine merino fleeces and processed with an exclusive and patented  anti-pilling system.

  Cashwool is the trade name for Zegna Baruffas flagship yarn. It is a 2/30's 100% merino yarn and very versatile. Single thickness is equivalent to 1ply cobweb lace weight but we have both hand and machine knitted multiple strands of cashwool to make one, two, three, four and five ply fabrics.
